Multi-Vehicle Collision on 108 Avenue in Surrey leads to road closure.

Surrey RCMP is advising the public that 108 Avenue will be closed in both directions between 139 Street and 140 Street due to a serious collision.

On April 19, 2022, at 6:42 p.m., Surrey RCMP responded to the report of a multi-vehicle collision on 108 Avenue near 140 Street.

One driver was pronounced deceased on scene, while the occupants of another vehicle were transported to hospital with minor injuries.

Due to the nature of the collision, 108 Avenue has been shut down between 139 Street and 140 Street with traffic control personnel in place. It is requested that the public avoid the area.

The investigation is in the early stages and it is unknown how long the road closure will remain in effect.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or has dash camera footage from the area at the time of the collision is asked to contact Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502.
