Multiple checks and five vehicles seized part of ongoing-targeted gang enforcement

The Surrey RCMP Gang Enforcement Team (SGET) has undertaken numerous checks, drug investigations, and vehicle seizures over the last 13 days of targeted enforcement against gang activity in Surrey.

Surrey RCMP is currently engaged in an action plan designed to disrupt and suppress gang activity in Surrey. This action plan was implemented in response to the increase in gang related violence across the region earlier this month (see previous news release – 2021-01-12).

Between January 11 and January 24, 2021, the Surrey RCMP Gang Enforcement Team (SGET) conducted:

Violent crime and gang violence continues to remain a priority for Surrey RCMP, says Inspector Mike Hall, Surrey RCMP Proactive Enforcement Officer. We will continue our efforts to suppress gang activity in our community and provide ongoing updates on our efforts.
