Can you help identify the driver in a hit and run collision?

Surrey RCMP is requesting assistance to identify a driver of a vehicle that struck a pedestrian and fled in Whalley. Police are also seeking witnesses and dash camera video that may assist in the investigation.

On December 16, 2020, at approximately 5:44 p.m., Surrey RCMP Gang Enforcement officers came across an injured male in the area of Old Yale Road and University Drive.

The officers learned the man was struck by a car while crossing the street in a marked crosswalk. The suspect vehicle immediately fled the scene. Officers are looking for a silver/grey 4 door sedan that fled eastbound on Old Yale Road (see attached photo).

The victim is currently in the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
