2022-4700 – Stunting  

On September 11, 2022, police received information about the driver of a blue mustang doing burnouts in Sundial Lane. Police saw the tire skid marks left from the burnouts, and spoke with the driver. The new driver, from out of area, admitted to doing the burnouts, and police impounded his car for seven days for stunting, and issued him a violation ticket for drive without due care and attention and drive contrary to restriction.

2022-4666/2022-4667 – Motor Vehicle Act and Impaired Driving Enforcement 

During various times over the week, members did formal and informal traffic enforcement that included focus on impaired driving. On September 9,, 2022, an out of town driver tried to evade an impaired driving check stop in Day Lot 3. Thorough investigation, the member determined the driver should not have been driving and issued a 24 hour driving prohibition. On the same day, the same member saw a driver run a stop sign. Upon investigation, the member determined the driver impaired and issued them a 90 day immediate roadside prohibition and impounded their car for 30 days.

2022-4645-Fraud 

On September 9, 2022, police received a report of online fraud after a local resident e-transferred $1,000 to buy a phone they never received, as once the money transfer was done, the seller demanded more money. Police continue following up with this matter.

2022-4593 – Graffiti to Busses 

On September 6, 2022, police received a report that of graffiti to three Traxx busses parked in Day Lot 4, happening sometime during the evening of September 5, 2022. The culprits used markers to draw graffiti on the backs of the busses.
