On Thursday, June 6, 2024 Fort St John RCMP were called to a local convenience store on 93rd Ave for a report of a suspicious occurrence.

Once on scene police learned that at approximately 7:25 pm, a man, at the convenience store, approached a young girl, asked her where she lived and if she wanted to go outside to see the puppies inside his car. The young girl said no had no further interaction with the man. There were no reported injuries.

Police attended and obtained a photo of the suspect and he is described as

Police have gathered evidence in efforts to identify the suspect and the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with any information as to the identity of the suspect is asked to call the Fort St John RCMP at (250) 787-8100.
