Three people taken to hospital following a report of a stabbing

On Sunday, June 2, 2024, Burns Lake RCMP were called to the local hospital for a report of a stabbing and that the suspect was currently at the hospital.

When police arrived, they located the suspect in the lobby and she was arrested without incident. Police learned that two people had been stabbed and that a potential third victim was at a residence where the assault may have happened.

Police located the third victim and all three received medical treatment for injuries that are not believed to be life threatening.

Individuals involved are known to each other and police do not believe there to be a further risk to the general public.
