Police seek information into drive by shooting investigation

On Thursday, July 6, 2023 at 9:29 pm, Fort St John RCMP responded to a report of shots fired in the 8800 block of 102nd Avenue in the city. It was reported that a vehicle was parked in a parking lot and appeared to have possible bullet holes in it.
Police attended and confirmed that multiple shots had been fired into the vehicle. The investigation is in the early stages but it appears that this was targeted and there is no ongoing threat to the public. There were no reported injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
