RCMP investigate a report of shots fired

On Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at 10:00 pm, Fort St John RCMP responded to a report of shots fired. It was reported that several shots had been exchanged between vehicles in the area of 92 Street in the city.

Police quickly attended, and while no suspects were found, two vehicles suspected of being involved were located abandoned and seized by police. Several shell casings and firearms were also located and seized.

While no injuries have been reported, the risk to public safety is elevated when firearms are involved said S/Sgt Scott Watson Operations NCO Fort St John RCMP.
