The Terrace RCMP is looking for the public’s assistance in identifying any suspects in a recent rash of mischief and vandalism with black spray paint.

Police received reports of personal properties being damaged with black spray paint at six different locations throughout Terrace and Thornhill some time during the night of August 2 to the morning of August 3.  The reported incidents involved damage to vehicles, houses, and fences. Police suspect that the occurrences are likely to be related.

The vandalism was wide spread ranging from the southwest area of Terrace to the east in Thornhill, but the majority of the occurrences being in the area of Toynbee, Sande Ave, and Old Lakelse Lake Drive.

Police are asking that if anyone has not yet reported a recent incident of mischief with black spray paint, to do so, and to provide any video surveillance which may have captured the suspect in the act.

To report, contact the Terrace RCMP at 250-638-7400 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
