The Nanaimo RCMP is pleased to announce their second Coffee with a Cop event to be hosted by Country Grocer located at 1800 Dufferin Crescent. For those who are not familiar with this event, it is simply a way for the public to meet and engage with local police officers in an informal neutral setting.

Coffee has traditionally been used as means to meet, discuss and sometimes vent about issues in our lives. We also recognize most of the public have never had the opportunity to meet with police officers informally, and to ask questions of them and find out more about the people who police their community. We are always striving to build on our existing relationships with the public and this is just one more way to accomplish that, said Superintendent Cameron Miller, Officer in Charge of the Nanaimo RCMP Detachment.
