Police Week Profile – Diversity

Surrey - For the Surrey RCMP it is imperative to recognize, acknowledge and embrace the values of cultural diversity. Surrey’s multicultural population is fast growing and ever changing. Policing a population where close to half the residents are from a visible minority has made it evident that paying attention to cultural diversity is important when it comes to combating crime. We recognize, appreciate and have respect for the demographics of Surrey.
