CPAC Scholarships Opportunities

The West Shore RCMP Community Policing Advisory Committee is excited to be offering two separate scholarship opportunities for students graduating from high school and living in the West Shore area.

The first scholarship, the Helping Profession scholarship, will provide $500.00 for a student who is entering into an accredited post-secondary institution and studying in a field of, but not limited to: policing; nursing, social work; justice studies, firefighting, or counselling.

The West Shore RCMP Community Policing Advisory Committee is challenging any other Helping Profession groups in the West Shore to match the $500.00 contribution to this scholarship.

The second scholarship, the Full Potential scholarship, will award $1000.00 to a student in recognition of their ability to overcome adversity. This is a unique opportunity for a student, or someone on behalf of a student, to show how the student has been faced with an adverse life situation and has overcome it and will be continuing their pursuit of education. This scholarship will be awarded to a student who is entering into an accredited post-secondary institute.
