Outstanding warrant for his arrest for the charge of attempt murder

The Penticton RCMP are seeking media and public assistance in locating 35 yr old David Wesley Bobbitt who as of today, has an outstanding warrant for his arrest for the charge of attempt murder.

The warrant for David Wesley Bobbitt stems from an incident of forcible confinement and sexual assault of a Penticton woman that unfolded between Saturday and Sunday overnight (July 30th and 31st).There is a Canada-wide warrant for his arrest.

CONSIDERED TO BE ARMED AND DANGEROUS. TAKE NO ACTION TO APPREHEND THIS PERSON YOURSELF.

The Penticton RCMP asks that should anyone see David Wesley Bobbitt or know his current whereabouts, to immediately contact their local police services via 911 and for those with any information regarding this matter to contact the Penticton RCMP at 250-492-4300 or via Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
