File # 2023-337

On January 5th 2023, sometime between the hours of 5:00 - 9:00 p.m., two youth suspects were caught on camera spray-painting graffiti at the Starlight Stadium located at 1089 Langford Parkway. The graffiti has since been removed.

West Shore RCMP initially asked the public to help us identify the youth. As on January 16, the youth have been identified and the original post was taken down.

Graffiti can negatively impact the community and businesses surrounding it. Removal of graffiti is expensive. In this case, the cleanup cost city of Langford thousands of dollars. Thanks to the media and public for sharing the original release. The youth suspects have both been identified. West Shore RCMP's investigation continues, said Cpl. Nancy Saggar, West Shore RCMP Media Relations Officer.
