Update: Intersection open to all traffic
Surrey RCMP is on scene at a collision in the 19100 block of 64 Avenue, which has led to all westbound traffic on 64 Avenue being diverted at Fraser Highway.
On April 26, 2023, at approximately 7:53 p.m., a motor vehicle collision occurred on 64 Avenue just west of Fraser Highway. One party has been transported to local area hospital with serious possibly life threatening injuries.
Officers will be on scene and the intersection will remained closed for an undetermined amount of time while the investigation continues.
The Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service has been called to assist the Surrey RCMP Criminal Collision Investigation Team with the investigation.
The investigation is in its early stages. Investigators are collecting statements and canvassing for video.
