Pedestrian struck – 15200 block of 96th Avenue

On July 13th, 2017, Surrey RCMP was called to attend a motor vehicle collision where a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in the 15200 block, travelling westbound on 96th Avenue. Officers from the Surrey RCMP’s General Duty and Traffic Services attended to the scene. The male pedestrian, a 55 year old Surrey resident, was transported to hospital with head Injuries. The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene and is cooperating with the police investigation.

The investigation is ongoing and 96th Avenue between 156th Street and 152nd Street is presently closed to westbound traffic, and will be closed for some time.
