Two fatalities in motor vehicle collision on King George Boulevard

On November 20th at approximately 7:30am, Surrey RCMP received a report of a serious motor vehicle crash in the 8100 block of King George Boulevard. Upon police arrival, it was determined the crash was between two vehicles. After initial investigation it appears as though both vehicles were occupied by only the drivers, both of which passed away at the scene of the crash.

Surrey RCMP’s Criminal Collision Investigation Team (CCIT) along with the Lower Mainland District Integrated Collision Analysis Reconstruction Services (ICARS) are on scene assisting.

At this point in the investigation, it has not yet been determined as to the cause of the crash. Alcohol, drugs, or distracted driving are all being taken into consideration.

King George Boulevard between 80th Avenue and 82 Avenue is completely closed north and southbound to allow for a safe environment for police to conduct the investigation.

Police have spoken to and identified several witnesses to the crash.
