National Volunteer Week April 23-29, 2017

From April 23rd to 29th, the North Vancouver RCMP Detachment alongside several other organizations will take part in National Volunteer Week. This annual event is being held to recognize volunteers who devote countless hours to their community. The North Vancouver RCMP Detachment has many ongoing Community Policing programs and services that regularly benefit from the generosity provided by community volunteers.

Superintendent Chris Kennedy, Officer in Charge of the North Vancouver RCMP stated that the actions of our volunteers truly help expand our community outreach, I extend my personal thanks and gratitude to all volunteers whose dedication and commitment helps make our community stronger and safer. He further adds that volunteers truly do help make North Vancouver one of the best places to live, work and play.

Check out the North Vancouver RCMP website if you are interested in volunteering with the various community minded programs.
