Two Vehicle Collision in ALdergrove Closes Fraser Highway

LANGLEY, BC: Langley RCMP is currently investigating a serious collision at the intersection of 244 Street and Fraser Highway. Police were called just before 4:00 this afternoon to a two vehicle collision involving a Chevrolet Suburban and a Ford Fusion.

Early investigation suggests that the Fusion was southbound on 244 Street when it collided with the westbound Suburban however the cause and contributing factors have yet to be determined.

The driver of the Fusion sustained significant injuries and was transported to area hospital by ambulance. The driver and occupants of the Suburban sustained minor injuries and were taken to area hospital as a precautionary measure. 

The intersection of Fraser Highway and 244 Street remains closed.

The Integrated Collision Analyst Reconstruction Service (ICARS) has been called to assist the Langley Traffic Section with the investigation.
