Coquitlam Mounties are lacing up their running shoes and donning their dry-fit shirts to help make sure that Special Olympics athletes get the support they need.

The 2017 Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) is coming to Coquitlam/Port Moody on June 8, 2017, and upwards of 30 people from the Coquitlam RCMP detachment will be running alongside Special Olympics Athletes and volunteering for the event.

Special Olympians are such a positive influence in a sometimes negative world, says Corporal Michelle Luca with Coquitlam RCMP.  We want people to join us in a show of respect for our Special Olympics Athletes and at the same time raise money for their big event.
