Port Coquitlam – In the afternoon on December 21st, the Coquitlam RCMP received a report of theft of mail from a postal outlet inside Pharmasave in the 3200 block of Coast Meridian Road.

According to the business’ video recording, a man walked into the store at 7:25 p.m. on Tuesday, December 15th and made his way to the postal outlet that was closed at the time. After lingering in the area for a few moments, he accessed the store’s back room where he found a number of parcels in several containers. The male then allegedly stole a handful of parcels and went out to the alley using the back door on several trips where he loaded them into his white or light coloured bicycle trailer. As soon as the trailer was filled up, he fled the scene on his bike with the parcels.
