A quick response by Burnaby RCMP officers has resulted in four arrests after a violent home invasion.

On Wednesday, November 29, 2017, at approximately 10 a.m., officers were called to a residence in the 4600-block of Bond Street after receiving a report of a home invasion in progress.

While one occupant of the residence was able to escape and call police, the other occupant of the home was assaulted, tied up and robbed. The 51-year-old male victim suffered minor injuries and was transported to hospital to receive medical treatment. The four males were arrested within minutes of attempting to flee the scene.

The quick response by Burnaby officers to this violent incident ensured that the suspects posed no further danger to the 51-year-old victim or to the general public, says Corporal Daniela Panesar.
