Homicide Investigation Underway

A homicide investigation is underway following the discovery of a body this weekend.

On Sunday August 20th, 2017 at approximately 8:00 AM, the Prince George RCMP received a report of a Suspicious Death on Noranda Road in Prince George.

General Duty officers and the BC Coroners Service attended the scene and located a deceased adult male in a vehicle. The Detachment’s Serious Crime Unit, with the assistance of the Forensic Identification Section, were called into investigate what is now believed to be a homicide.

This investigation is in the beginning stages. Further updates may be provided as the investigation progresses.
