Stolen Horse Located Safe, Suspects Sought

Police are looking for the person or persons responsible for the theft of a horse.

On the morning of Wednesday August 9th, 2017, the Prince George RCMP received a report of a stolen horse, more specifically, a Quarter Horse gelding, taken from the Prince George Exhibition Grounds sometime the previous night.

At approximately 11:00 AM, General Duty officers were informed that the horse was located by stable staff in the back yard of a residence on Explorer Crescent in Prince George. Explorer Crescent is approximately 2.5 kilometres from the Exhibition Grounds. The horse was returned to the grounds unharmed.

Police are continuing this investigation and are requesting the public’s help identifying the person or persons responsible.
