Vehicle Used to Smash into Mall to Commit Robbery

Police continue to investigate following an early morning Robbery at a local mall.

Just before 4:00 AM on Tuesday July 4th, 2017, the Prince George RCMP received a weapons report at a local mall on the 3000 block of Massey Drive in Prince George.

Officers immediately attended and soon learned that a lone, masked suspect drove a vehicle through an entrance to the mall. It is believed that the suspect was accessing a store in the mall when mall security arrived. The suspect fired a shot from a gun and then fled the property on foot. The security guard was unharmed.

A Police Dog Services Team was called in to assist in locating the suspect, however all efforts have been negative so far.
