Police continue to investigate young man’s disappearance

Whistler, B.C: Whistler RCMP continues their investigation into the disappearance of William (Willy) Lynskey.

Willy Lynskey was last seen on the evening of April 11, 2017 at his apartment in Vancouver. It is believed he travelled by bus to Edmonton, Alberta on the evening of April 12 arriving on the morning of April 13. He is believed to have checked into a hotel in Edmonton and checked out the following morning. His cell phone appears to have been used in Calgary on the evening of April 14.

Investigators have checked Willy’s banking records, telephone records and interviewed his friends but so far have not been able to locate him. Willy’s family and the police are quite concerned for his well being and believe he may be at risk for self harm. Mr. Lynskey is described as Caucasian, 6’2, 250 lbs with brown hair and hazel eyes. When last seen, he had a full beard and short hair.
