As residents in the Upper Fraser Valley are preparing to give at Christmas RCMP remind everyone to protect your property from being stolen. The holiday season can be a time of year which offers thieves greater opportunity to target shoppers and home owners as they purchase gifts for family and friends.

Officers will be patrolling during the season; however, neighbours watching out for their neighbours and reporting suspicious activity to police is a powerful means to keep our communities safe - not only at Christmas, but throughout the entire year, said Corporal Mike Rail spokesperson for the UFVRD.
