Alison Raspa was last seen on November 22 at approximately 11:30 pm as she was leaving the Three Below Bar on Blackcomb Way in Whistler. Alison's cellular phone was recovered on November 23 at 6:30 am at Alpha Lake park on Lake Placid Road.
Following this discovery, Whistler RCMP with support form the Whistler Search and Rescue Society conducted a thorough search of Alpha Lake Park and the shores of Alpha Lake.
Since Alison's disappearance, police have pursued a number of investigative avenues in an effort to locate her. These have included a canvass of the area for any CCTV footage that could assist in determining Alison's movements the night she was last seen. Police have also conducted searches of numerous underground parking lots, nearby creeks, parks and any other locations where Alison could reasonably be located.
On November 26, the E Division Underwater Recovery Team conducted a thorough search of Alpha Lake in an effort to locate any evidence in Alison's disappearance but were unsuccessful.
"We would like to thank the public for their interest in our investigation and appreciates all offers of assistance received", says S/Sgt Paul Hayes, Whistler RCMP. "We continue to follow-up on all tips and ask for any information that could assist us in tracing Alison's movements after she was last seen leaving the Three Below Bar".
In an effort to further the police investigation and elicit new information, a second photo of Alison is being released. Alison is described a Caucasian, has long brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a black jacket, a white and black striped shirt and black pants. She also had a blue backpack.
As Alison is an Australian national, police continue to maintain regular contact with the Australian Consulate to keep them updated on the search efforts. Investigators have also been in close contact with Alison's family in Australia.
Whistler RCMP are continuing their investigation and asking anyone with information in relation to this investigation to contact them at 604-932-3044.
