Adrian Oliver Memorial Run

In November 2012 Surrey RCMP Constable Adrian Oliver died in a motor vehicle collision while on duty. Adrian was known for his enthusiasm, positive attitude and infectious smile. The seventh annual Adrian Oliver Memorial Run is a 5K or 10K race around Deer Lake Park in Burnaby, BC. The run is held in support of Honour House, a home away from home for first responders. Honour House opened its doors to the Oliver family who travelled to the Vancouver area from across Canada to be with family and friends.
 

Surrey RCMP Public Safety Fair

Join us at the Surrey RCMP Public Safety Fair to learn about our prevention and intervention programs with local partners, and how you can get involved in public safety. You’ll also get a sneak peek of two new presentations that talk about gang involvement and ways of building resiliency in youth. Plus – free BBQ, Shred-a-Thon, and activities for kids and youth!

Block Watch Training

This training provides new Block Watch Captains/Co-Captains with information on starting and maintaining a Block Watch, crime prevention, reporting suspicious behaviour, and empowering your neighbourhood. NOTE: These sessions are only for those who have been accepted into the Block Watch Program. To apply to start a Block Watch in your neighbourhood, contact the Community Programs Coordinator at your nearest RCMP District Office.
