Photo of a man suspected of a 'road rage' assault.

Pitt Meadows, B.C. – Ridge Meadows RCMP are hoping to learn the identity of the man in the photo.

On Monday May 8th, just after 9:00 a.m., police were called to the intersection of the Lougheed Highway and Kennedy Road for an alleged assault. The altercation was a result of road rage, and fortunately the victim was not seriously injured.

Incidents of ‘road rage’ are very concerning to everyone, said Corporal Amanda Harnett. With an increase of vehicles and pedestrians on our roads, all motorists should be defensive and courteous in their driving habits. Losing your cool is not the way to deal with the manner another driver is driving.

Anyone with information is asked to call Constable Ouellette at 604 467-7608. If you wish to remain anonymous call CRIME STOPPERS at 1 800 222-8477 or leave a TIP online at www.solvecrime.ca.
