Mounted Citizens on Patrol

This is a newly formed Mounted Citizens on Patrol group and from what we can determine the first of its kind in Canada.

This group of valued volunteers regularly go out on patrols with the same vision as any other C.O.P. group ~ the only difference is that they are on their own horses.

Presently we have seven members of the team although we would welcome other community members to come forward.  Another training session will take place in due course.

The purpose of the Mounted Citizens on Patrol are to observe, record, and report.  The team members are equipped with cell telephones as well as portable radios, keeping them in constant communication with the Detachment.
