About Revelstoke RCMP

The Revelstoke RCMP Detachment provides policing services to over 10,000 local and seasonal residents in the City of Revelstoke - an official British Columbia Resort Municipality- as well as the surrounding areas of the Columbia Shushwap Regional District.

The Revelstoke Detachment is a designated bilingual Detachment due to its proximity to several National Parks. The detachment works in close partnership with the Salmon Arm RCMP as well as the Sicamous RCMP and the Golden RCMP Detachments, as our jurisdictions border each other. 

The Revelstoke Detachment provides a wide range of policing, consisting of :

The Revelstoke RCMP Detachment has a fleet of police vehicles to address the various demands required for policing in this area. In addition, Integrated Forensic Identification Services, BC Highway Patrol and the Integrated Road Safety Unit have duty specific vehicles to respond to calls for service. The Detachment Officers are capable of operating UTV, ATV, several snowmobiles, a boat and mountain bikes for alternate methods of community policing.
